The National Weather Service puts the chances of showers and thunderstorms this afternoon and late evening at 30 percent. We should see mostly cloudy skies and a high near 78 during the daytime hours, coupled with winds of 5 to 10 mph with gusts as high as 15 mph. The temp will drop to about 58 tonight under mostly cloudy skies.

We’ll see the 30-percent chance of showers and thunderstorms remain Tuesday, then increase to 50 percent Wednesday, with the 50/50 chance of such weather remaining through Thursday night. All in all, you’ll probably thank yourself for keeping that umbrella nearby most of the workweek.
