Paulding Gets School Construction Updates

At least two of the projects should be done by June 25.

School starts in less than a month in Paulding County, and the district is working to complete multiple renovation and construction projects before the school bell rings on Aug. 1.

By July 25, the new Hiram Elementary should be finished and Russom Elementary should be connected to the public sewer system, according to the Paulding Neighbor.

Those were some of the updates district construction manager Ken Elsberry gave during a recent school board meeting, according to the report in the Neighbor.

In addition to Hiram and Russom, Elsberry said security vestibules are being installed at Dallas and Union elementary schools. Once complete, visitors to both schools will have to enter through the administrative office to get access to the hallways and classrooms.
