The National Weather Service says we can expect today mostly sunny skies with a high near 90, as well as an easterly wind between 5 and 10 mph. The evening will be bringing the temps down to the high 60s under partly cloudy skies.

2. No new faces entered municipal races in Dallas and Hiram Tuesday, leaving today as the only other day potential candidates can qualify for the November elections. Qualifying closes at 4:30 p.m. .
