Save Money and Have Fun as Weekend Draws Near

Here are a few things to know as you begin your Thursday.

1. Get the umbrella ready, just in case.

The National Weather Service says there is a 20-percent chance of showers and thunderstorms after 2 p.m. today. Our day should be partly sunny with a high near 90. The 20-percent of rain and storms will continue until 2 a.m., while the evening low should hit in the mid 60s under partly cloudy skies.

2. Authorities are after a 911 call Wednesday morning. We’ll bring you updates should they develop today, later in the week or beyond.
