Here are a few important things to know as your Tuesday begins.

The National Weather Service says today’s chance of precipitation is 80 percent, with showers and thunderstorms possible after 2 p.m., with the day’s high reaching just 74 degrees or so. Tonight, showers are likely, with a thunderstorm possible before 8 p.m., then showers and thunderstorms after 8 p.m., though the chance of precipitation drops slightly to 60 percent. The overnight low should dip down to about 65.
