Studio's Groundbreaking, Government Meetings To Make for Busy Tuesday

Here are a few things you need to know as you begin your day.

1. Get the umbrellas ready.

According to the National Weather Service, there is a 70-percent chance of precipitation today, with showers and thunderstorms likely after 8 a.m. Besides those conditions, we should see partly sunny skies with the high temp near 89 degrees, couple with winds between 10 and 15 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph. The chance of showers and storms diminishes to 30 percent this evening, during which we’ll see a low just under 70 or so.

2. Most local elected officials will be in action today during their respective bodies’ regular meetings. Meeting this evening will be the and the . Before those meetings, though, will be the and of the Paulding Board of Commissioners, the focus of which will be approval of a fiscal year 2012 budget.
