World Trade Center Steel Piece To Be Dedicated

Here are a few things to know as your workweek winds down.

1. The weather should be nice today, hopefully on its way to an even nicer weekend.

According to the National Weather Service, today should be mostly sunny with a high temp just below the 80-degree mark along with winds of 5 to 10 mph. The evening should see mostly clear skies with a low near 56.

Saturday’s forecast so far calls for sunny skies and a high near 83 and an evening low near 58, while Sunday’s predictions are fairly similar with the exception of the addition of a 20-percent chance of showers and thunderstorms.

2. The Paulding County Fire Department today at 9 a.m. at the in Dallas will in a ceremony open to the public. The ceremony is one of several events to be held this weekend that will mark the 10th anniversary of the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks.

3. Local churches will be among those reflecting about what happened during the Sept. 11 attacks and the issues stemming from them. and feel free to add your church’s plans.
