Georgia Highlands College Earth Day in Downtown Dallas

Green Highlands, a student organization that promotes environmental awareness at Georgia Highlands College, will be hosting its 4th annual Earth Day event on Tuesday,  April 22, 2014 from 12:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. at its Paulding Campus located at 25 Courthouse Square, Dallas, Georgia, 30132.

At this year's event there will be many activities for all ages from  face painting to corn hole.  Green Highlands will also offer a Free recycling drop (Items we will accept are posted on our Facebook Page).

There will also be many local businesses coming out to show what they are doing for the environment in addition to Fortune 500 Companies such as United Parcel Service who will be showing off their latest in Eco-Friendly Delivery Vehicles.

A BBQ lunch
from the Hickory Hut will be provided at no cost to the attendees. 


There will also be free coffee donated by Starbucks.

Our keynote speaker this year is John Martin, Chief Information officer for the Georgia Department of Natural Resources, who will be talking about how technology plays an important role in the protection of wildlife.
