Instead of the Sam's Club parking lot in Hiram (as in recent years), this event will be held outside of the Paulding County Courthouse on U.S. 278. Praises will be sung and reports will be given from the volunteers and organizations who have served in dozens of community projects during the annual Community Makeover on July 21-24. Around 100 churches, plus other organizations, were involved in 5 counties "to love your neighbor and engage your community," said Paul Richardson, director of the sponsoring organization, Engage Atlanta. Those attending should bring lawn chairs and blankets.
