Rescued Pets Get Free Bath Today

The Paulding County Shelter Pets Christmas Party will be held Tuesday, Dec. 17, from 2 to 7 p.m.

Jennifer Spiroplaus, owner of The Regal Beagle grooming and boarding, is offering a free bath and brush out for any pets rescued at Tuesday's Paulding County Shelter Pets Christmas Party.

"It's better to save or rescue a pet than buy one at a store," Jackie Spiroplaus said, sister of Jennifer's. "Paulding has a nice bunch of pets from cute puppies and kittens to cats and dogs, and a lot of pure breds as well."

The Regal Beagle, in business in Dallas for more than 13 years, also donated festive bandanas for the pets, making the dogs a little more adoptable, Jackie said.

"Our clients have dropped off a lot of cool stuff," she said, "from collars to clothes to treats, food and beds."

The party will be held from 2 to 7 p.m.

Adoptions will be $10 with a microchip and a $20 coupon toward spay/neuter.
