Local Eagle Scout Project Looking to Help the Homeless

You can help Duncan Lindsey fill backpacks with essential items.

Duncan Lindsey's Eagle Scout project is reaching out to help those who are less fortunate in the Paulding County community.

Working with Helping Hands of Paulding County, he is creating backpacks filled with essentials items that will be donated to the homeless.

With lots of help from the students and teachers at Sammy McClure Middle School, Duncan has collected the backpacks. Now it is time to fill them.

Duncan is looking for items like wash cloths, rain ponchos, and chapstick to fill the backpacks. (A complete list is below)

Eagle Dollar, located at 8876 Dallas Acworth Highway, has generously placed a donation bin in their store. Donations can be made through August 9.

Please help Helping Hands of Paulding County, Eagle Dollar, and Duncan Lindsey help the less fortunate in our community.
