Hiram’s Christmas Tree Lighting was held on Dec. 6 and featured a special processional incorporating local veterans and South 107’s Moby as master of ceremonies in the event’s eighth year.
The perennially popular event again included local entertainers on stage, a live Nativity scene, horse-and-buggy rides, an interactive children’s play area, Christmas cartoons playing on a movie screen, and, reportedly, a visit from Santa and Mrs. Claus.
