As part of its continued commitment to the Hiram community, LongHorn Steakhouse recently hosted a breakfast event to benefit Hope for Christmas – an organization that provides toys and food to more than 10,000 people in Northwest Atlanta.

Santa Claus made an appearance during the event and took photos with children and attendees who brought a new, unwrapped toy.

The breakfast raised more than $1,000 for Hope for Christmas and more than 190 members from the community attended.

“Hope for Christmas,” sponsored by Engage Atlanta, started in 2008 to provide food and toys to local families – all in a fun environment where families can celebrate Christmas.  In 2012, through a partnership with Paulding Christmas, “Hope for Christmas” provided toys to more than 6,000 kids.

The Hiram LongHorn Steakhouse Managing Partner, Jason Kolacz, has a strong passion for keeping his restaurant involved in the community, by participating in volunteer opportunities, and donating food. This is the second year Kolacz’s team hosted a breakfast event to benefit Hope for Christmas.
