Santa Shall Boogie for Toys for Tots

J. & P. Productions will be teaming up with Toys for Tots for the third consecutive year and performing their Santa Claus Boogie holiday show.

Everyone knows Santa rides in a sleigh and comes down your chimney every Christmas but few recant tales Santa's excellent boogying skills.

Those skills will be on display this Saturday at "Nashville in the Country," where J. & P. Productions will be teaming up with Toys for Tots for the third consecutive year and performing their Santa Claus Boogie holiday show. The toys will benefit children in the Paulding area.

Douglasville resident and the "J" in J. & P. Productions, Joey Garland, said his partner George Price will be donning the red suit and laying down a wide variety of jams during the two-hour performance. Garland is an award-winning song writer and Price is a nationally-recognized guitar player, musician and entertainer.

Bring a new, unopened toy to the show and support Toys for Tots. The Outpost Opry Show will be held at "Nashville In The Country," located at 400 Red Mountain Rd. in Dallas, Georgia. Doors open at 2 p.m. and showtime is 3 p.m. 

Garland will host The Outpost Opry Show, and feature house band "The Major Dogs" with award-winning female vocalist Leesa Biddy. The show will consist of some classic Christmas music with some Country and Rock-N-Roll in the mix.

Bring the kids and come see Santa in concert. Admission is $10 at the door. Just take Highway 278 west of Highway 61 about 4 miles and turn left on Hulsey Town Road. Go about 1 mile, turn left on Red Mountain Road. "Nashville In The Country Theater" will be a half mile on the right.
