Paulding County Resident Brings Home International Title

Several months ago Patch highlighted one of our very own Brittany Deaville, a 18 year-old graduate student from South Paulding High School and Georgia Highlands College, who was the reigning Miss Teen Georgia Galaxy. Brittany took it to the stage Aug. 2 and 3 in Orlando, competing in 5 categories: fun fashion, swimwear, evening gown, interview, and her modeling photos competing against delegates from across the country including Wales, Scotland, England, Bahamas, Puerto Rico, and Australia to name a few along with other ladies from the US. Brittany was crowned Saturday night winning four out of the five categories.

Brittany has already started making appearances at events in the Atlanta area for all you apparel buyers, you might have seen her working the runway in the Flirt Prom showroom recently at the Americasmart down town Atlanta, or judging for our very own Real Housewives of Atlanta Cynthia Bailey's Miss Renaissance Pageant. Brittany has recently been asked to act as an awards hostess for the Annual African Awards which provides awareness for orphans of West Africa August 31.

In September she will be heading to Chicago to work another event for Flirt Prom and her calendar is already full for October with a breast cancer walk, Fur Ball being held in SC., and back to Chicago to model for the Live out Loud Charity Fashion Show. She also has plans on traveling to the UK next March to represent Galaxy at their state preliminaries as well as Ohio to work the Midwest State preliminaries.

As a charity-driven organization, Miss Teen Galaxy will continue to work with some of the organization’s official charities. While doing so, she will continue to work with her charities of choice, including “Color Me Beautiful,” an organization that Brittany founded to provide coloring books and crayons to sick children. All this and more along with starting her college career at Berry College pursing a degree in Early Childhood Education. Wow this girls is an amazing representative not only for community but an amazing role model for all teens. Congratulations Brittany Deaville the new Miss Teen Galaxy 2014

Galaxy Pageants has been featured in magazines and press release internationally and provides scholarship opportunities for young women while providing a platform to achieve their goals and give back to the community. Look out for this years Georgia prelim information coming soon.
