Support Your Own—Buy Locally Grown at Paulding County Farmers' Markets

You can get great, wholesome, local foods here in Paulding at one of three local farmers' markets. Learn where to find them and when to go!

Are you looking for a fun, local family outing with health and community benefits that can last beyond the scope of your trip? Look no further! Our local farmers’ markets offer you and your family the opportunity to purchase healthy fresh foods, socialize with other community members, and support our local agricultural economy.

Paulding County now has three active farmers’ markets operating for the season. The Paulding County Farm Bureau sponsors at the intersection of Highways 92 and 120 and also at . Each of the Paulding County Farm Bureau Markets runs from 3 to 7 p.m. on their respective market days. The Dallas Farmers Market is on Saturdays from 8 a.m. until noon at the old Courthouse in downtown Dallas. 

Come meet the folks who grow their own and whose produce has traveled less than 100 miles from farm to market. The vendors who sell at the farmers’ markets are knowledgeable, local growers who are bringing their products direct to you in friendly and fun open-air markets. The markets are not just a place to buy wonderful edibles, but a place to connect with your community.

The market vendors sell a wide variety of produce, such as sweet corn, many types of beans and peas, tomatoes and berries. If it is in season, the growers will be there with it fresh from the field! Beyond just fresh produce, vendors also offer brown eggs, fresh ground whole wheat and artisan breads, local honey products, jams/jellies, pickles, relishes, herbs, fresh-cut flowers, shelled peas and much more. Many of the products are produced without artificial fertilizers and pesticides and the growers are there to answer any questions you may have about these fabulous farm-fresh products!
