Join 4-H'ers in Operation Gratitude

In honor of the upcoming Martin Luther King Day of Service on January 20, 4-H AmeriCorps Community Service Specialist Chantal Senra is coordinating a letter writing campaign to United States soldiers that are serving overseas. 4-H staff members are asking all students at each local 4-H club meeting to take a moment and write a letter to our soldiers thanking them for their service.

We would like to invite our community to do the same. Please take a moment to share with our soldiers a little about yourself, about events that are taking place back home, and of course thank them for their service, their sacrifice and protection of our country. It only takes 5 minutes to brighten their day!  On January 20th, our 4-H’ers will box up your letters and mail them to Operation Gratitude, who will then distribute them to U.S. soldiers. Please have your letters to our office by January 17th.  We are open from 8-5 weekdays, closed from 12-1 daily for lunch. For more information please call our office at 770-443-7616.Please drop off your letters or mail them to:
