Master Gardeners Planning 22nd Annual Plant Sale

Spring has sprung!  Bees are buzzing.  Birds are chirping.  Pink, yellow, purple and red are the new it color and will be on display at the 22nd Annual Paulding Master Gardener Plant Sale.  The Master Gardeners are volunteers who represent a cross section of the Paulding community and they are passionate about encouraging  practices that improve our soil and conserve our water.
“This is our only fund raiser and supports the things we do.  It is a big deal for us,” says Marsha Rauscher, President of the Master Gardeners of Paulding County. “Our volunteers are proud sponsors of Paulding is Blooming and Spring Forward Paulding and we fund a scholarship to help educate the next generation of horticulturist and conservationist. The Demonstration Garden we maintain provides fresh produce to Helping Hands of Paulding County— the local community food bank. We devote countless hours to horticulture education programs for county residents including hands on learning to students at county wide schools.  We provide good quality plants at a good value and educate the community about the care of the vegetables, annuals, perennials, shrubs, and trees that are offered for sale.  We also offer hard to find plants like Summer Sweet Shrub, White Dwarf Crested Iris and Spider Lily, as well as, beautifully potted and ready to display floral arrangements."
Second Hand Rose, a perennial favorite, will have gently used plant-related items at yard sale prices.  Also, to nourish the body a breakfast and lunch menu will be offered by the 4H Horse and Pony Club.

The Plant Sale is Saturday, April 26th, 8:00 am to 1:00 pm, 530 West Memorial Drive, Dallas, Georgia 30132.  Please call 770-443-7616 if you have any questions.
