Desert Shield Vet Steven Bobby Clark, 45, Dies

Steven Bobby Clark, 45 of Dallas passed away on Tuesday, Jan. 21, at Wellstar Paulding ER.

Steven was born on April 11, 1968 to loving parents Bobby Joe Clark and Judy Hollis Clark. He served with the U.S. Army during Desert Shield. He received the Army Service Ribbon and the Expert Badge (Rifle). Upon his discharge from the service he worked as an auto glass technician with Black Belt Auto Glass. He was a member of New Georgia Baptist Church.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 21 years Mrs. Theresa Clark; two children Ms. Kimberly Jean Clark and Mr. Daniel Steven Clark; nephew Alex Weaver; mother Ms. Judy Clark and Lee Gibson; brother Mr. Kenny Clark and girlfriend Dorie Bell all of Dallas; nephew Mr. Justin Allen Clark of Paulding; niece Ms. Ashley Marie Clark of Canton, GA; nephew Mr. Kyle Clark; niece Ms. Kaitlyn Clark; four nephews Brett Butler, Bobby Butler, Beau Butler, and Benjamin Butler; niece Brooklynne Butler; two nephews Abram Miller and Keenan Miller; niece Hanna Miller all of TN; best friends Mr. & Mrs. Rodney (Denise) Verdin, Mr. & Mrs. John (Chandi) Collins, and Mr. Jay McElroy all of Dallas; mother in law Mrs. Betty Jean Bowles of Cedartown; father in law Mr. & Mrs. Jim (Sue) Miller of Marietta; sister in law Mrs. Renee Butler and brother in law Mr. James Miller both of Mt. Pleasant, TN; and many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his father Mr. Bobby Joe Clark; sister Ms. Karen Clark;

A memorial service for Mr. Steven Clark will be held at New Georgia Baptist Church today at 2 p.m. with Dr. Jim Burdette and Dr. Keith Stell officiating.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made on behalf of the children to the Steven Bobby Clark Memorial Fund at Regions Bank.
