Franklin Edward Parson, Sr., 63, Dies
Funeral services for Mr. Parson will be held on Monday, Nov. 18, at 2 p.m. in the chapel of the Jeff Eberhart Funeral Home with Rev. Matt Johnson and Rev. Shane Tidwell officiating.
Franklin Edward Parson, Sr., 63 of Hiram, passed away on Friday, Nov. 15, at Wellstar Paulding Hospital.
Mr. Parson was born on June 27, 1950 in Douglasville, the son of the late Edward Eugene Parson and the late Agnes Allene Thurmond Parson. He worked in sales and was a member of the Hiram Church of Christ. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by an infant brother and a grandson, Thomas Parson.
Mr. Parson is survived by his wife, Pudgy Hogsed Parson; three sons, Art (Jenna) Parson, Ed, Jr. (Heather) Parson and Josh (Leanne) Parson; six grandchildren, Devon, Dustin, Dillon, Monica, Matthew, and Logan Parson and Will Crabtree; a brother, Charles (Ann) Parson; a brother-in-law, Roger Hogsed; a sister-in-law, Lucille Crowe; and many nieces and nephews also survives.
Funeral services for Mr. Parson will be held on Monday, Nov. 18, at 2 p.m. in the chapel of the Jeff Eberhart Funeral Home with Rev. Matt Johnson and Rev. Shane Tidwell officiating. Interment services will follow in the Peaceful Meadows Memorial Park Cemetery. Jimmy Dukes, Steve Trader, Larry Austin, Jeff Kirkland, Chris Parson and Scott Parson will serve as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, Nov. 17, from 5 to 9 p.m. and on Monday, Nov. 18, from 9 a.m. until the funeral hour.
