Marion Thomas “PawPaw” Worthington, age 73, of Dallas, GA, passed away Wednesday, April 3, 2013. He was born in Rome, GA, May 18, 1939, and was preceded in death by his father, Burl Worthington and mother, Lizzie P. Bush. Mr. Worthington worked as a brick mason most of his life.

Dora Lee Pope, age 90, of Lithia Springs, GA, passed away Tuesday, April 2, 2013. She was born October 15, 1922 in Polk County, GA, and was preceded in death by her parents, Sparling & Bessie Powell; her husband, Lihugh Richard Pope; brother, David; and sisters, Jean and Ruth. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith.

Frances Summers Curtis, age 81, of Hiram, GA, passed away Tuesday, April 2, 2013. She was born, February 20, 1932, the daughter of the late, James H. Summers, Sr. & the late, Beulah Cox Summers and was also preceded in death by her husband, Leon Curtis, son, Steven Leon Curtis and brother, James Henry Summers, Jr. Mrs. Curtis was a retired accountant with Lawrence, See & Beavers and also a former clerk for the City of Hiram. She loved reading, gardening, crafts and traveling, and was a big Georgia Bulldog and Atlanta Braves fan. Mrs. Curtis was a member of Cochran Ridge Baptist Church.
