Matthew Justin "Ozzie" Osborne: May 6, 1980 - Feb. 18, 2012. Funeral services for the Dallas resident will be held Thursday, Feb. 23, at 11 a.m. at the Dallas First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Steve Schofield officiating. Mr. Osborne will be cremated following the service. The family will receive friends Wednesday, Feb. 22, from 6 to 9 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to his children's education fund.

Billy Joe Meeks: June 29, 1935 - Feb. 20, 2012. Funeral services will be held Thursday, Feb. 23, at 2 p.m. at the Victory Baptist Church, 2907 Mulberry Rock Road, Dallas, with the Rev. Leonard Chambers, the Rev. Glenn Morrow and the Rev. Chris Simpson officiating. Mr. Meeks will lie in state at the church from 1 p.m. until the funeral hour. Randy Meeks, Robbie Meeks, Gene Allen, Timothy Gowens, Cicero Evans and Barry Meeks will serve as pallbearers. Military graveside and interment will follow in the Victory Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday, Feb. 22, from 3 to 9 p.m.; and Thursday, Feb. 23, from 9 a.m. until the funeral hour.
