Funeral Announcements: March 14

Sarah Margaret Barker: The 82-year-old Hiram resident died Sunday, March 11, 2012. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 14, at Bellamy Chapel Hiram with the Rev. Dennis Bellamy Officiating. Interment will follow at Paulding Memorial Gardens.

Eddie Wills Jr.: Dec. 23, 1952 - March 11, 2012. Funeral services for the Dalton resident, formerly of Paulding County, will be held on Wednesday, March 14, at 2 p.m. from the Benson Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Ronnie Jones officiating. Interment will follow in the Peaceful Meadows Cemetery with Taylor Bowles, Joey Faircloth, Wes Jones, Wade Jones, Jeff Osborne, Daniel Bowie, Allen Cooper, David Osborne and Tod Brock serving as pallbearers.

Linda Diana Dillard: Jan. 15, 1955 - March 12, 2012. No memorial services are planned at this time.

Gene Francis Kennedy: July 17, 1928 - March 13, 2012. Funeral services will be held Friday, March 16, at noon at the St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, Dallas, with Father Adrian Pleus and Father Fredrick Elskamp in charge of the funeral mass. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday, March 16, from 11 to 11:50 a.m., then leave in procession to the church.

Interment will be held Monday, March 19, at 12:30 p.m. at the Georgia National Cemetery, 1080 Veterans Cemetery Road, Canton, with full military graveside rites.
