Funeral Mass for Mr. Orlando LaCorra, age 77, of Dallas, Ga. will be held Thursday, May 30, 2013, 12:00 Noon at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church. Father Adrian Pleus will officiate. The remains will be cremated following the service.

Marie Sanders, age 65 , of Dallas, GA, passed away Wednesday, May 22, 2013. She was born August 13, 1947 in Atlanta, GA and was preceded in death by her parents and brother, William Calvin Sanders. She worked as a claims representative for Assurant Insurance Company.

Topper Duffy, age 24, of Dallas, GA, passed away Saturday, May 25, 2013. The son of Thomas & Amy Duffy, III, he was born, September 7, 1988 in Chattanooga, TN. He was a musician that played all over Georgia with the Shockwaves and his most recent band Lucid. Topper was a songwriter, a leader and an entertainer who could play just about any instrument.

George Michael β€œMikey” Shaw, age 24, of Dallas, GA, passed away on Monday, May 27, 2013. He was born in Savannah, GA, June 26, 1988. He had worked as an electrical technician for Fouts Brothers, Inc.

Mrs. Linda Ann Bowman Wilcher, age 68 of Dallas passed away on Monday, May 27, 2013 at Wellstar Community Hospice.

Interment will follow at Sunrise Memorial Gardens in Douglasville.

Mrs. Edwina Robbie Hughes, age 70, of Powder Springs passed away Sunday. Funeral Services will be held at 2 pm on Wednesday, May 29, 2013 at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church with Reverend Lamar Rackley officiating. Mrs. Hughes will lie in state at the church one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at Pleasant Hill Church Cemetery.

Erin Olivia Matthews, age 19, of Marietta, GA passed away on Sunday, May 26, 2013. Funeral Services will be held at 10am on Wednesday, May 29th at Burnt Hickory Baptist Church with Rev. Mike Stephens officiating. Interment will follow at Kennesaw Memorial Park in Marietta.

Barbara Ida Webb Sanders, age 81, of Villa Rica, formerly of Powder Springs, passed away on Tuesday, May 28, 2013. Funeral services will be held at 11am on Friday, May 31, 2013, in the Chapel of West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory, 2480 Macland Road, Marietta with Rev. Mike Stephens officiating. Interment will follow at Cheatham Hill Memorial Park.
