Edith June Strickland: The 74-year-old Hiram resident died Thursday, Sept. 20, 2012. Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 23, at Riverside Church of God with the Rev. Thomas Blagg and the Rev. Tony Stallings officiating. Interment will follow at Powder Springs Memorial Gardens. Strickland will lie instate at Riverside Church of God at 3 p.m. Sunday.

Doyle Vaughn: Aug.7, 1929 - Sept. 21, 2012. Funeral services will be held Sunday, Sept. 23, at 3 p.m. from Clark Funeral Home Chapel, with Brother Clyde McDonald and Pastor Mick McLaughlin officiating. Interment will follow in Paulding Memorial Gardens with military honors being performed.

Cheryl Kay Tibbitts Herron: Feb. 12, 1959 – Sept.21, 2012. Funeral services will be held in the chapel of Jeff Eberhart Funeral Home on Monday, Sept. 24, at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Garland Odom officiating. Jacob Herren, Sean Bagley, Danny Tibbitts, Adam Trestyn, James Herren and Mike Tibbitts will serve as pallbearers. Interment will follow at Shady Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday, Sept. 23, from 3 to 9 p.m.; and Monday, Sept. 24, from 9 a.m. until the funeral hour.
