Herbert H. Kirby, 83, Dies
Services for Mr. Kirby will be on Monday, Jan. 20, at 11 a.m. at Tabernacle Baptist Church, with Reverend Tom Grantham officiating.
Herbert H. Kirby, 83 of Dallas, passed away on Saturday, Jan. 18. He was born on May 29, 1930 in Towns County, GA., and was preceded in death by his parents, Emory Franklin and Jessie Garrett Kirby; wife, Peggy Grantham Kirby; brother, Joseph Benjamin Kirby and granddaughter, Kristen Nicole Kirby. He was retired after approximately 40 years at Sears Roebuck and Co. He was a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church.
Survivors include his son and daughter-in-law, Kevin and Tricia Kirby of Dallas, GA and daughter and son-in-law, Lisa and Barry Jones; grandchildren, Stephanie Turner, Michael Kirby, Justin Turner, Eric Jones and Katie Jones all of Dallas, GA; nieces and nephews.
Services for Mr. Kirby will be on Monday, Jan. 20, at 11 a.m. at Tabernacle Baptist Church, with Reverend Tom Grantham officiating. Interment will follow at Paulding Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends today at Clark Funeral Home between the hours of 4 and 7 p.m.
