Martha Mae McFall Collins Lamanac, 93, Dies

Funeral services for Mrs. Martha Lamanac will be held in the Chapel of Jeff Eberhart Funeral Home on Friday, Jan. 17, at 2 p.m. with Reverend Sammy Hall and Reverend Ken Wilbur officiating.

 of Woodstock, passed away on Tuesday, Jan. 14, at Wellstar Paulding Nursing Center.

Mae was born on March 6, 1920 in Knoxville, TN. to loving parents, the late Mr. Jackson V. McFall and Mrs. Mattie Matthews McFall. Mae belonged to Piney Grove Baptist Church. She worked for many years with Mann’s Nursery in Woodstock. She enjoyed crocheting, sewing quilts, gardening, and working with flowers.

Mrs. Lamanac is survived by her daughter Mr. & Mrs. Carlton (Martha) Miller of Dallas, two sons Mr. & Mrs. C.L. (Linda) Collins of Dallas, and Mr. & Mrs. Jack (Linda) Collins of Jasper; nine grandsons; one granddaughter, eighteen great grandchildren; six great great grandchildren; five sisters Mrs. Elizabeth Johns, Mrs. Ruth Fortner both of Hiram, Mrs. Margie McArthur of Woodstock, Mrs. Gladys Patterson of Mt. Zion, and Mrs. Etta Miller of Chamblee; one brother Mr. Hoyt McFall of Rockmart; nieces, nephews, and many other beloved family and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband of 30 years Mr. Emmett Lamanac; her first husband Mr. Clifton Collins whom she was married to for 24 years; her parents Mr. & Mrs. Jackson and Mattie McFall; stepmother Mrs. Carrie McFall; daughter Mrs. Estelle Oliver; son in law Mr. Johnny Oliver; grandson Mr. Keith Greenway; great grandson Mr. Alex Collins; three brothers Mr. Buford McFall; Mr. Gene McFall; and Mr. Doyle McFall; and three sisters Mrs. Edna Booth, Mrs. Faye Fennell, and Mrs. Betty Garmon.

Funeral services for Mrs. Martha Lamanac will be held in the Chapel of Jeff Eberhart Funeral Home on Friday, Jan. 17, at 2 p.m. with Reverend Sammy Hall and Reverend Ken Wilbur officiating. Music will be provided by The Tibbitts Family. Grandsons David Greenway, Daniel Greenway, Matt Oliver, Scott Miller, Spencer Miller, Russell Miller, Shawn Collins, Michael Collins and Vic Collins will serve as pallbearers. Interment will follow at Oak Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. 

The family will receive friends at the funeral home today from 4 to 9 p.m. and Friday, Jan. 17, from 9 a.m. until the funeral hour.
