Mary Ruth Benson, 84, Dies
A graveside service was held on Thursday, Dec. 5, at Midway Presbyterian Church Cemetery.
Mary Ruth Benson, 84 of Rockmart, GA., (Paulding County), passed away Monday, Dec. 2. She was born, Jan. 31, 1929, in Atlanta, and was preceded in death by her father, William Ernest Sparrow, mother, Ida Bernice Sparrow, and husband, Jess Benson. Mrs. Benson retired from Plaza Shoes in Dallas, and was a member of Grace Covenant Church.
Survivors include her son & daughter-in-law, David & Linda Benson of Rockmart, GA; daughter & son-in-law, Teresa & Joe Queen of Huntsville, AL; grandchildren, Regina Cameron (Ray), JoAnne Reinalda (Chad), Rebekah Prewett (Shawn), and Chad Benson; great-grandchildren, Ragen Cameron, Reece Cameron, Naomi Reinalda, Halle Reinalda, Chloe Reinalda, and Enzley Prewett.
A graveside service was held on Thursday, Dec. 5, at Midway Presbyterian Church Cemetery.
