Paulding School Maintenance Man James Edward Adair, 59, Dies

Funeral services for Mr. Edward Adair was held in the Chapel of Jeff Eberhart Funeral Home on Saturday, Dec. 28, at 2 p.m. with Reverend Jody Cagle and Reverend Dwayne McCreary officiating.

James Edward Adair, 59 of Cartersville, passed away on Wednesday, Dec. 25, at Cartersville Medical Center.

Edward was born on April 3, 1954, in Dallas to loving parents the late Paul Adair and Eula Pace Adair Turner. He was also preceded in death by two sisters Joan Waits and Glenda Jacobs. 

Edward worked as a maintenance man for the Paulding County School System. He attended Christian Fellowship Church. Mr. Adair enjoyed flowers, gardening, and animals. He was a devoted family man who loved spending time with his family.

He is survived by his wife of 39 years Mrs. Darlene Adair; one daughter Mrs. & Mr. Keshia (Shannon) Hall; one son Mr. & Mrs. Blake (Mindy) Adair; six grandchildren Logan Hall, Lane Hall, Laya Hall, Liam Hall, Ethan Adair, and Jordan Adair all of Cartersville, GA; one brother Mr. Tommy Adair; one sister Mrs. Martha Dodd both of Dallas; several nieces, nephews, and many other relatives and friends.

Funeral services for Mr. Edward Adair was held in the Chapel of Jeff Eberhart Funeral Home on Saturday, Dec. 28, at 2 p.m. with Reverend Jody Cagle and Reverend Dwayne McCreary officiating. Music was provided by Shannon Hall. Larry Hammit, Frankie Hammit, Wade Dodd, Derrick Jacobs, Dax Ard and Dennis Priest will serve as pall bearers with Shannon Hall serving as honorary pall bearer. Interment followed at Peaceful Meadows Memorial Park.
