Robert Lancaster Noland, 59, Longtime Mechanical Engineer

Robert Lancaster "Bob" Noland, age 59, of Hiram passed away in the early morning of Tuesday, April 15, 2014 at Wellstar Community Hospice/Tranquility in Austell. 

He was born to Jerre Lancaster Noland and Anne Vinson Noland on May 30, 1954 in Havre de Grace, Maryland. 

Bob was a beloved member of First Baptist Church of Powder Springs and worked in the field of mechanical engineering for many years. 

He is survived by his loving wife, Susan Wood Noland; sons, Michael Noland and John Noland; sister, Mary Bowen; and brother, Dr. Joseph Noland. 

The family will receive friends 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm Thursday, April 17, 2014 at White Columns Chapel in Mableton. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 am Friday, April 18, 2014 in the funeral home's chapel with Rev. Mike Woods, Rev. Alan Davis, and Dr. Steve Echols officiating. Interment will follow at West View Cemetery in Atlanta.
