What’s Your Favorite Love Song?

So we’re a week away from the holiday of love, Valentine’s Day, and in the spirit of the upcoming holiday, we at Dallas-Hiram Patch want to know some of your favorite love songs.

Tell us that song that warms your heart, the one that reminds you of your first kiss, or that song that you and your husband, wife, boyfriend, girlfriend, etc. call yours.

For me, there are three songs that come to mind. The first is “After All” by Peter Cetera and Cher—my then-future-fiancée and I sang it duet style when it came on the radio on our third date.

Jonathan Coulton’s “The Future Soon” is the song I currently have on my phone as my fiancée’s ringtone, and it’s been the way since shortly after we began dating.

Last, but certainly not least, is the first song Laura and I will dance to at our wedding—Chicago’s “Colour My World.” I told her that if I got just one choice in the matter in our wedding planning, that I would get to choose the song we danced to, and that was it.
