Casino Royale Raises $12,000 to Benefit Public Schools

On March 8th, Paulding Education Foundation hosted the Paulding Casino Royale presented by GasSouth to raise funds for Instruction and Technology in Paulding Schools

Dallas, GA 3/14/14  –

The community showed up on March 8th to support public schools at the Paulding Northwest Atlanta Airport.  The Paulding Casino Royale presented by GasSouth featured casino style games, a live and silent auction and raffle to a 4 day trip to the Beaux Rivage resort in Biloxi, MS. Close to $12,000 was raised to benefit the scholarships and grants of the Paulding Education Foundation.  These funds will be available for grants that focus on technology in schools for the upcoming 2015 budget.

The winner of the grand prize raffle to Beaux Rivage was Jayna Joiner of Metroderm, while over 15 people walked away with other raffle prizes valued between $75-200.  The silent and live auction featured many additional prizes with the St. George Island beach house donation from Kim Cobb drawing the most participation.  As bidding grew higher and higher, Ms. Cobb added another week to her donation, allowing two winners.  This high ticket item brought in two winning bids of $1,100 each.
