Cobb Authorities Investigate Multi-county Harassment

An arrest warrant has been issued on a Marietta man following an investigation that began in September.

The Cobb County Police Department’s Special Victims Unit is investigating a case of harassing communications by an individual.

According to investigators, on Friday, Sept. 9, the Special Victims Unit began an investigation when a woman came forward to report that she had in the past and was continuing to receive numerous sexually explicit phone calls from a man.

As a result of the investigation, an arrest warrant has been secured for 42-year-old Harold Aubrey Blasingame of Keheley Glen Drive in Marietta. It is believed he has made other obscene phone calls to females in the Acworth in Cobb County, the Woodstock and Waleska area of Cherokee County and others in Lumpkin County, Georgia.
