Dallas Man Facing Charges in Fatal Crash in Bartow
Chalon Trevor Furtado faces vehicular homicide and other charges after pick-up truck he was driving overturned and rolled onto a passenger riding in the truck bed.
A Dallas man has been charged in connection with a fatal one-vehicle crash in Bartow County that claimed the life of a Smyrna man.
According to and , 26-year-old Christopher David Danko was killed about 9 p.m. Saturday in a crash on Connesena Road near Kingston. He was riding in the bed of a pick-up truck and the driver lost control. The truck overturned and rolled onto Danko.
The driver, Chalon Trevor Furtado, 26, of Dallas, was arrested and charged with DUI, vehicular homicide, failure to maintain lane and driving too fast for conditions.
