Update: Child Remains in Critical Condition
A 22-month old boy was found unresponsive and not breathing in an above-ground pool Tuesday afternoon.
Updated 9:30 p.m. The last update from the Paulding County Sheriff's Office reported that the boy remains in critical condition at Scottish Rite. He had been found in his home's above-ground pool by family members shortly before 4 p.m.
Updated 6:25 p.m. Sgt. Brandon Gurley of the Paulding County Sheriff's Office says healthcare personnel at Douglas General in Douglasville were able to obtain a pulse on the boy, and officials are in the process of getting him flown to Scottish Rite in Atlanta.

A 22-month old child was taken for treatment by Clarks Ambulance Service Tuesday afternoon after being found unresponsive and not breathing in an above-ground pool.
According to Sgt. Brandon Gurley of the , the child, the sex of which has not yet been identified, went missing from inside a house on Cowart Drive in Powder Springs and was later found outside in the pool.
