Deputy Retires After 19 Years with Paulding County Sheriff's Office

Deputy Gary Grant worked in the Detention Center, Uniform Patrol and Warrant/Civil divisions.

A longtime deputy with the Paulding County Sheriff's Office retired after 19 years of service effective on July 1.

The sheriff's office said in a press release that Deputy Gary Grant, who started with the department on Nov. 17, 1995, was honored at a reception with friends and co-workers on June 30.

Deputy Grant worked in the Detention Center, the Uniform Patrol Division and most recently the Warrants/Civil Division.

"The Paulding County Sheriff’s Office wants to congratulate Deputy Gary Grant on his retirement and wish him the best of luck in this new chapter of his life," the sheriff's office press release stated.
