Dooley Receives Paulding Commissioner’s Public Safety Award

Last week, Detective Stephen Dooley of the Paulding County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigations Division was awarded the Paulding County Board of Commissioner’s Public Safety Award.

Dooley was recognized for his exemplary service to the Technical Services Unit and the Criminal Investigations Division of the Paulding sheriff’s office.

Dooley is a crime scene detective and has been employed with the Paulding sheriff’s office for nearly 13 years. As a crime scene detective, Dooley processes crime scenes, conducts investigations, and collects forensic evidence.

Dooley is also the emergency management coordinator for the sheriff’s office and is in charge of tactical dispatch for the sheriff’s office SWAT team. Dooley is a member of multiple committees and is also a member of the Paulding County Radio System Advisory Board.

Dooley was presented with a Certificate of Appreciation from the Board of Commissioners along with a “Dinner for Two” Gift Card from Texas Roadhouse.
