Freezing Rain in Paulding Still Possible Today

The National Weather Service warns that this morning's weather conditions could cause slippery roads and travel difficulties.

Paulding County drivers should be cautious when hitting the roads this morning as freezing rain is possible.

The National Weather Service has issued a freezing rain advisory for Paulding and other Georgia counties that will be in effect from 6 a.m. to 1 p.m. Though rain is expected, low temperatures could turn it into freezing rain.

A freezing rain advisory means that periods of freezing rain or freezing drizzle could lead to travel difficulties and that drivers should be prepared for slippery roads. Officials say motorists should slow down and use caution while driving in these conditions.
