Hiram Trucker Pleads Not Guilty to Homicide in Fiery Crash That Killed 3

Vernon Wright, who was driving a tanker truck filled with crude oil, has been charged with negligent homicide.

A truck driver from Hiram, Ga., pleaded not guilty in a North Dakota court on charges of negligent homicide in a fiery crash that killed three men last summer.

According to media reports, Vernon Wright, 50, faces up to 15 years in prison.

Wright is accused of causing the crash in western North Dakota last June. He was driving a tanker trailer truck filled with crude oil that exploded in a six-vehicle accident on U.S. Highway 2.
