May Drug Task Force Searches Net 12 Arrests, Seizures of Heroin, Pills and Cash

Nine of the arrests came at a Dallas, Ga., location.

The Haralson Paulding Drug Task Force arrested 12 people in search warrants in May.

According to a new release from the Paulding County Sheriff’s Office, the search warrants were executed after drug buys were made from two locations.

On May 1, Jimmy Summerville, 64, Vicki Summerville, 59, and Shai Summerville, 18, were arrested and charged after a search of a Jimmy Drive residence in Temple.

“Hundreds of prescription drugs including Carisoprodol (Soma), Hydrocodone, Viagra, Methadone, and Xanax were seized. Also seized during the search was $10,584 in cash,” the release stated.

Jimmy Summerville and Vicki Summerville were charged with possession with intent to distribute Schedule II, III, and IV controlled substances; possession of Schedule II, III, and IV controlled substances; and six counts of prescription pills outside of original container.

Shai Summerville was charged with possession of Schedule II and IV controlled substances.

The second search warrant executed by the task force along with deputies of the Paulding County Sheriff’s Office was on May 28 on Hiram Acworth Highway in Dallas.

“This location was searched after the task force received multiple complaints and two confirmed overdoses occurred at the residence,” the news release said.

Heroin was seized and nine arrests were made.

David Edwards Pejack, 59, James Carter Gurley, 56, Charlie Louis Kennedy, 49, Wendy Deanne Kennedy, 45, Sandi Irwin Lindsay, 38, Laura Nicole Adams, 27, Barbara Dee Schell, 40, Danielle Nichele Bentley, 26, and Ryan Scott Aplin, 30, were arrested and charged with possession of heroin with the intent to distribute.
