Officer Who Saved Life of Inmate Honored By Commissioners
Officer Caleb Lindsey was awarded the Paulding County Board of Commissioner's Public Safety Award.

Officer Caleb Lindsey of the Paulding County Sheriff’s Office Detention Center was awarded the Paulding County Board of Commissioner’s Public Safety Award.
Lindsey received the award this week for his exemplary service to the detention center as well as the Paulding County Sheriff’s Office.

Officer Lindsey also saved the life of an unconscious and non-responsive inmate by performing CPR. Lindsey got the inmate breathing again and kept him stable until EMS personnel could arrive.
The inmate was later transported to the hospital where he recovered from his condition. Officer Lindsey has been with the detention center for about a year.
