Video: Project Gives Bikes, Trikes to Needy Kids

The Paulding County Shrine Club and Paulding County Sheriff's Office teamed up Saturday to give dozens of needy kids bicycles and tricycles in the "Spokes for Little Folks" project.

Most children who participated Saturday in the 15th-annual weren’t finished for the day when they walked out of the Dallas Walmart.

That’s because the sheriff’s office, along with the Paulding County Shrine Club, had teamed up to put on “Spokes for Little Folks,” a project aimed at putting donated bicycles and tricycles in the hands of Paulding’s needy children. More than 200 bikes and trikes were available to those who took part in Cops for Kids, in which needy children were allowed to spend $150 as they shopped in the morning with a member of area law enforcement agencies.
