The Paulding County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a report of gunshots fired during a case of “road rage” last week.

WSB-TV reported deputies have been looking for a suspect since Tuesday, May 13.

Aaron Lee, whose van was struck several times by bullets, told the TV station that someone fired at least 10 shots at him on Highway 120 near Macland Road.

Lee said he pulled out in front of a black Chevy Avalanche from a gas station, and the driver cursed at him. Lee hollered back, then heard "10 pops" as bullets riddled his vehicle.

WSB reported a March road rage incident, in which a suspect pulled out a gun and cut off a driver, happened in the same general area.

Though no one has the right to shoot at people like that, it looks to me like Lee should be more careful and not pull out in front of people. If he does, he should be more respectful and wave instead of escalating the situation, and should probably keep his mouth shut when on the highway. Hopefully a lesson learned. And don't slowpoke if you pull out in front of someone. You may feel like the winner by being in front of someone and being territorial, but this is what happens when you are.

Any a$$hole that shoots at a car should be locked up.

Amen, brother. People should not shoot at people but if it is going to happen this type of behavior is what provokes it. If you don't want to be shot at, act like it.

No excuse for using a gun because some stupid driver cuts off another driver. I have noticed over the last few years that drivers are not as curteous. if we all were more curteous and planned ahead on the road (dont try and move over 4 lanes right before an exit), get rid of the "i own the road" mindset, there would be less road rage. it's all about sharing the road.
