Sheriff's Dept. Asks for Public's Help in Unsolved February Homicide

Cody Lane Bryant was killed while he slept at his Dallas home on Feb. 10.

The Paulding County Sheriff’s Office has reached out for the public’s help in trying to solve the homicide of a 20-year-old man last month in Dallas.

Cody Lane Bryant, 20, was killed at his Dallas home in his sleep on Feb. 10, and the family is desperately looking for the reasons why, according to media reports. FoxAtlanta reported the sheriff’s office and the Georgia Bureau of Investigations have leads, but haven’t released details.

The sheriff’s office posted the following on its Facebook page:

The Paulding County Sheriff's Office is reaching out to the community to seek assistance in the murder of Cody Lane Bryant. Mr. Bryant was murdered at his home on Ivey Gulledge Road on 02/10/14.

Although the Sheriff's Office is pursuing active leads in the case, we always welcome assistance from anyone that may have more information.
