South Paulding Armed Robbery Third in 2 Weeks

The three robberies have occurred at the same time of night, with guns used during all of them.

The is requesting the public's help in a string of armed robberies that have occurred over the past two weeks. All three incidents have occurred between 9 and 11 p.m. at restaurants in the South Paulding area.

The first incident occurred Nov. 23 at a , 6525 Hiram Douglasville Highway, Powder Springs. The second incident happened Monday at , also 6525 Hiram Douglasville Highway, Powder Springs. The latest robbery occurred Wednesday at the Waffle House at 4865 Ridge Road, Douglasville.

Witnesses reported a black male suspect wearing a mask and gloves in the first two armed robberies, and two black males wearing masks and gloves in the third. Witnesses also reported that a handgun was seen at all three incidents. No injuries have occurred as a result of the three robberies.

Witnesses described the suspect in the first two incidents to be about 5-feet-10-inches to 6 feet tall, with medium build. In the third incident, the two individuals involved were described as one being tall and the other short, both with medium build.

The Subway restaurant β€”April 4β€”about 10 p.m., while a Ridge Road convenience store was robbed about 20 minutes later.
