Two Robberies Within Minutes Monday Night

Investigators with the Paulding County Sheriff's Office are still trying to get descriptions of perpetrators involved in incidents that occurred in Douglasville.

Authorities say two Paulding businesses were robbed Monday within minutes of each other.

Cpl. Brandon Gurley of the says the first robbery occurred about 10 p.m. at the , 6525 Hiram Douglasville Highway, while the second happened about 20 minutes later at Top of the Ridge gas station, 2874 Ridge Road.

More than one suspect was present at both incidents, and firearms were used at both. According to PCSO reports, two masked and gloved individuals took cash from a register during the restaurant incident, while the same occurred at the gas station but reportedly involved three suspects.

Gurley said that investigators are still confirming descriptions of the suspects, adding that authorities are working leads that will hopefully result in arrests. He added that the details they have so far on the perpetrators will be released should the leads they have not bring about any arrests.
