Update: Assault Suspect Could Be Traveling to Canada

The Paulding County Sheriff's Office says the teen wanted in connection to an aggravated assault case could be headed out of the country.

investigators Thursday afternoon reported that may be headed to Canada.

According to PCSO Cpl. Ashley Henson, investigators believe 17-year-old Diante Andre Rosado may be traveling with his mother, Shelevia Raquero Proctor, toward Canada via a border crossing in Buffalo, N.Y. The two are possibly traveling in Proctor’s black 2011 Toyota Highlander with Georgia tag BRL 9860.

Proctor is described as a 43-year-old black female, 5-feet-5-inches tall and 205 pounds.

Paulding authorities Thursday morning announced that Rosado was wanted in connection to an assault that left a boy hospitalized. They say Rosado and the boy got into a fight on Hope Drive, which is inside Twelve Oaks subdivision. According to witnesses, once the fight was over, Rosado got into a green Ford F-150 and knocked the boy down with the vehicle, and then ran over him.

Rosado is described as a black male, 5-feet-9-inches tall and weighing 150 pounds. Paulding authorities have released three photos of Rosado, which are attached to this article.
