Austin To Give 'State of the County' March 1

David Austin, chairman of the Paulding County Board of Commissioners, will serve as the keynote speaker of the Paulding Chamber of Commerce's Georgia Power Luncheon in March.

David A. Austin, who took office as the chairman of the in January 2009, will give the annual “State of the County” address at the Georgia Power Luncheon Thursday, March 1, at the . Attendees can network starting at 11 a.m., with the program and lunch beginning at noon.

The luncheon, hosted by the Paulding Chamber of Commerce, is an update of the county's fiscal and operational status as well as a look at some of the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead. Attendees also have the opportunity to find out how the county is working to improve the overall quality of life for Paulding citizens.

Reservations are required and may be made by calling 770-445-6016 or visiting the Chamber website at www.pauldingchamber.org. The cost for the luncheon is $20 for members who pre-pay, $25 for members at the door or non-members who pre-pay, and $30 for non-members at the door. Tables of 10 are $225 and include program recognition. Visa, MasterCard and American Express are accepted.
