Commissioners to Meet, Rain Possible and More

Here are five things you should know as your Monday begins.

1. Don’t put the umbrella out of sight just yet.

The National Weather Service says we have a 40-percent chance of showers and thunderstorms this afternoon. If we escape those odds, we’ll see mostly sunny skies and temps hitting 92 or so, though the heat index will be about 5 degrees higher, and winds of 5 to 10 mph. Tonight, a 30-percent chance of rain and T-storms, mainly before 8 p.m., and partly cloudy skies with the low dropping to about the 70-degree mark.

2. The Paulding County Board of Commissioners to discuss the fiscal year 2012 budget. The meeting will take place in the Board of Commissioners Board Meeting Room on the second floor of the Watson Government Complex, 240 Constitution Blvd., Dallas.
