Council To Consider City Manager Contract

could soon end the months-long process of obtaining a city manager if city councilmen approve a contract tonight.

The city council is holding a 5:30 p.m. called meting with an agenda that includes a vote on a contract to hire Robbie Rokovitz as city manager. Rokovitz, who is currently Cedartown’s city manager, was pending a successful execution of a contract between him and the city; he had been one of six candidates .

• Adopting a resolution to place temporary restrictions on certain signs in the city to allow for a review of the city’s sign ordinance.

Councilmen are also slated to go into closed session with their legal counsel to discuss pending or potential litigation.
